PROGRAM FACT SHEET

Math Fact Fluency in 10 Minutes a Day!

The FASTT Math program uses the research-validated FASTT system (Fluency and Automaticity through Systematic Teaching with Technology) to help all students develop fluency with basic math facts. FASTT Math assesses all students to uncover fluency gaps and to establish a baseline of fluency for each student. Then, FASTT Math automatically differentiates instruction in customized, 10-minute daily sessions.

FASTT Math ensures that all students, regardless of their fluency level, build the long-lasting fluency they will need to tackle higher-order math.

ReadAbout is an adaptive, leveled, nonfiction reading system that is designed to integrate seamlessly alongside our core reading program, Treasures, in Grades four and five.  ReadAbout uses the power of technology, high-interest nonfiction, and the best thinking about motivation to teach and reinforce the 10 reading comprehension strategies and skills.

SYSTEM 44

System 44 was designed for our most struggling readers in Grades 3-12.  System 44 helps students understand that the English language is a finite system of 44 sounds and 26 letters that can be mastered.

At the heart of System 44 is state-of-the-art adaptive software that delivers direct, explicit, research-based phonics instruction. In order to move students through the program as quickly as possible, students are placed in the appropriate level based on their performance on the  HYPERLINK "http://teacher.scholastic.com/products/readingassessment_spi/" Scholastic Phonics Inventory (SPI). Once placed, students work independently in the software, which is continuously and automatically collecting data on student performance and adjusting accordingly.
